5th SC Meeting
The Fifth Steering Committee Meeting confirmed that the SPHERE project is progressing successfully and in accordance with the revised implementation plan. The consortium was informed about the submitted amendment request, including the proposed extension of the project duration until 30 June 2027 and related adjustments of deliverable deadlines. A total of 23 out of 33 deliverables have been completed and submitted, representing 67% of all planned outputs.
Significant progress has been achieved in the implementation of sustainable transportation curricula, student enrolment, professional trainings, and dissemination activities. More than 100 students have been enrolled in newly developed or modernized study programs, while over 200 transportation professionals have participated in project trainings. Preparations for student internships and remaining implementation activities are ongoing.
The Steering Committee unanimously supported the continuation of planned activities, approved the presented action plan for the forthcoming period, and reaffirmed its commitment to the successful completion of the SPHERE project and achievement of all project objectives.
5th PMC Meeting
All partners agreed about future activates and deadlines. The main milestone for this stage of the project is finalization of the accreditation study programs and student enrolment by TTPU and KIUT by the end of June 2026. Following those activities finalization, the project will be on the safe side in the final stage of lifetime. All partners were acknowledged about further steps and activities to be finalized.
As a general conclusion, the meeting confirmed that the project is progressing according to plan, with a high level of quality achieved in all major project activities and strong commitment from all consortium partners toward the successful completion of the project objectives.
It was concluded, and unanimously agreed by all partners, that the Third Internal Quality Report will be prepared during the final month of the project. Considering that the amendment to the Grant Agreement for the extension of the project duration until the end of June 2027 is currently under approval, the preparation of the report has been scheduled accordingly. This approach will ensure that the Third Internal Quality Report covers the quality assessment of all project activities, deliverables, and results implemented throughout the entire project duration.
